Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Doctor role based at the School of Pharmacy and Research Center in Baramati. The Medical Doctor will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient clinical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing, and ongoing management. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating care with pharmacy and research teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. The role involves participation in academic activities such as case discussions, teaching sessions for students, and contribution to clinical research and quality improvement projects. The Medical Doctor will also support health awareness initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient safety and overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid registration/license with the appropriate medical council.
- Strong clinical skills in patient examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Knowledge of evidence-based medicine, clinical guidelines, and safe prescribing practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy, nursing, and research staff in a multidisciplinary setting.
